By utilizing Total Enogen Acres for Enogen Contract creation, the contracting process can commence earlier in the season, even amidst location uncertainty, and seed ordering can proceed as necessary. However, field assignment to the contract will still be required at the season's end, in compliance with the Stewardship information requirements for Assigning Fields, Planting, and Harvest.
Start by selecting the appropriate seller from the dropdown in the top left corner (Syngenta personnel only). Then, within the Plan tab, identify the grower desired to create an Enogen Contract for. Once identified, select on the + (plus icon) under the Enogen Contracted column to enter the contract creation workflow for this grower.
From within the popup frame, select New Enogen Contract.
Storage Locations from prior years contracts will appear in the list on the left hand side if applicable. Otherwise, you can create new storage locations by selecting + New Storage Location from the top right of the frame.
Creating a New Storage Location: Storage locations can be created for Grain using bushels or for Silage using tons. First, enter the name of the storage location. Second, choose which type of end product will be stored here. Third, enter in the storage capacity using the units for the location type (Bushels for Grain and Tons for Silage). Fourth, check the box confirming that the grower has enough available grain storage to contain the yield from the contracted fields should they miss the silage window.
Scroll down to the map portion of the window to proceed with identifying the storage location. Locate the storage location on the map and then left click one time within the map to drop a pin on top of the location. After this has been completed, choose Save Location from the bottom right corner of the window.
Back on the list of Storage Locations, select a location by checking the box to the left of the name to proceed with using it within this contract. Then select, Next: Contract Details from the bottom right corner.
Contract Details:
From the top left dropdown, select the appropriate Grain Receiver from the list. Depending on the receiver selected, this will automatically default the Contract Type and Contract Language fields. Next, select the current Contract Year from the dropdown. Once selected, proceed to scroll down the Contract Details page.
Within the Fields section, enter the Total Enogen Acres that are planned on being planted, your average Planting Rate, and the Expected Yield Per Acre in bushels. Proceed to scroll down the Contract Details page to the Delivery section.
In the Delivery section, select the Cattle Type from the dropdown (Beef or Dairy) and then enter the total Cattle Headcount. Proceed to scroll down the page to the Total Units Needed section.
Review the Total Enogen Units Needed. If changes need to be made to either increase or decrease units, return to the Fields section and increase/decrease the planned acres or population as needed. If this units needed is correct, then select Create Contract.
The Schedule 1 PDF Agreement will be displayed. Review as needed and then proceed to select Review Signers from the bottom right corner.
Review Signers:
Each contract must be sent to the grower and a Syngenta approver for signing. If the grower contact information that the contract needs to be sent to is incorrect, select on Edit.
Next, update the Delivery Choice to either Phone or Email as desired, then update the Method of Contact accordingly with the correct grower information. After all changes are made, choose Save.
Send for Signing: When sending the contract for signing there is two options 1. Sign Here or 2. Send Contract.
1. Sign Here: Allows the contract to be signed in the moment while on the machine that is creating the contract. This option is best when the contract is being created in person with the grower. Select Sign Here to proceed. (Skip to Send Contract section details further below these steps if needed)
After selecting Sign Here, the grower will then get a text or email notification that contains a six digit code that will need to be entered on the contract creators machine in order to proceed with signing. This notification will be sent to the contract info that was entered in the step prior to this.
After the grower's notification code has been entered, the Enogen Stewardship Training Video will appear. Once this video has been watched completely you will then be able to select Continue below the video to proceed.
The document signing screen will then load. Select CONTINUE from the window to proceed.
Select Start to scroll down to the signing line then choose Sign to adopt and apply a signature.
Now that a signature is applied, select on either option for FINISH.
A Success message will appear. Afterwards, you can select on the X's to close the Enogen Contracting window.
2. Send Contract: Allows the contract to be sent to the growers entered contact as a text or email for signing at a time that is convenient for them. Keep in mind, the grower must sign their contract before the Enogen seed order can be placed.
Select Send Contract.
The contract signer link will be sent to the grower for signing at their entered method of contact. A Contract successfully created message will be displayed. Click Continue or click the X's to close the Enogen Contracting window.
Post Contract Creation: Enogen Tab
Now that the contract has been created and either sent for signing or signed by the grower, the Enogen Tab will now populate the created contract in the list along with the other details and actions that are available post creation such as: Amendments, Void, Resend for Signing, View Contract PDF, and Stewardship (Assign Fields, Planting Stewardship, Harvest Stewardship).
