The crop stress index is tool that can be utilized to understand the given conditions within a field and how they may impact the respective crop.
To begin, navigate to the "Field Activities" tab found on the dashboard screen.
Next, choose the grower in which you wish to look at a crop stress index for.
Upon selecting the grower, the associated farm field tree will populate. From the fields list on the left hand side of the screen, check the box next to the field you wish to view a crop stress index for. Once the desired field is selected, it will then be highlighted in orange.
Once the field is highlighted in orange, click anywhere within the given field boundary and the field menu will populate. From the field menu select "Weather Data."
Subsequently, the crop stress index will populate. If you wish to view temperature, precipitation, GDD accumulation, or each of these insights on a single combined graph, you can do so by toggling between them in the top left.

Tips on reading the crop stress index:
- Yellow and red sections indicate hot and dry environments.
- Light and dark blue sections indicate cool and wet environments.
- The solid orange line indicates the primary soil type within the given field.
- The orange shading that can sometimes be found above or below the solid orange line represents the secondary soils found within the given field.
- The grey bars indicate a wind event of at least 40 mph.
